do you think the playoff committee would get any kind of pressure to let us jump them in the rankings.

would it be fair? probably not... they beat us head to head and would have more wins (same losses) as us.

also, they beat UGA and we lost.

our best win is Louisville and their best win is UGA.

but i think it could happen!?

Barring a significant injury by GT, it's not likely IMO

Even if they get blown out by FSU (which is also unlikely IMO), GT probably won't fall below Clemson in the rankings.

I'm holding out hope that we jump them. The only basis for a potential jump is that we're night and day better with Watson and we didn't have him for the GT game.

If GT gets blown out by FSU I think there's a chance they drop 6-7 spots and we edge them out with Watson available for the bowl.

They didn't earn it. Dw4 embarrassed UGA his first CFB series. He was embarrassing GT too. GT played a HS QB. Sweet, good Job GT!

with the end of the BCS era the Orange Bowl is not quite as prestigious and I think the players would love Orlando.
