Most GT fans very complimentary of our fan base here.

I never have heard much good about the UGA fan base from any school.

UGa fans are the most vile and repugnant of any fan base that I have ever encountered.

A distant second would the fans from NC State, Maryland, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Of course they are pulling for us we are playing Uga. Duh. Gt fans sux just go to atl and see them with their nose in the air. Can't stand those jerks

The point was it's nice to hear compliments about our fans from rival schools.

I begged my dad to take me to the UGA game in 1986.

I can distinctly remember him telling me that he could not expose, in good conscience, any child of his to such a vile atmosphere of hatred, as I would experience at UGA.
He had been to games there before and had come to the conclusion that it was just not safe to attend a game in Athens as an opposing fan.

where their fans were throwing liquor bottles.

Had a highly intoxicated female UGa fan (as if there are any other kind) tell our group that we should seriously consider leaving unless we wanted to be carried away by an ambulance.
