He'll get his chance tonight. Mike Tomlin said that every healthy player will play tonight

I just don't know what the deal is. I'm pretty sure he'll strive in a system that fits his strengths though. Maybe a team like the Eagles or maybe even Carolina would be good fits

When Billy Napier was recruiting Tony McNeal from chester. He told the Chester coaches that tajh was a bust that he couldn't read defenses. I think it speak volumes about what Chad did with him when Napier had already written him off. That being said you could see it in games that tajh just didn't see the field that well, and that's probably why he is not an NFL qb. I really would like to see tajh get in to coaching. Think he would do really well at that. I wouldn't be surprised if he is on the staff at Clemson one day.

I honestly think that if Streeter had one year with him, he'd fix Tajh up. Heck he fixed Cole in no time before that Bowl game

Cole also understands progressions and how to read a defense...he just has a very slow release and pop gun for an arm. Boyd has the physical tools but nit the football IQ.

I think your the first person that watched Cole play last year that said he understands progressions and knows how to read a defense. That was what he was worst at, besides starring receivers down. Do u think tajh was so much better in this offense cuz he had a stronger arm? He was much better at that than Cole, but still not anywhere near good enough to compete in the NFL. I wish he could figure it out though, would love to see him succeed.

I agree with you, cole was a first option QB

he threw it to his first no matter what the defense was doing.
Tajh is just short in NFL terms. Plus he's new to their offense. My guess is he's not comfortable enough with the play book and they don't feel confident in him calling plays. They would play him if he did. Why wouldn't they, they can always just cut him if he couldn't make the throws.
That's my guess anyways. Otherwise I don't why those other scrubs would play the whole game and he not get a sniff

Boyd is doing fine in and in good shape for the team, they just really need to see Jones in game-time mode to see if he's worth keeping. Thus all the extra playing time. Why play the guy who's locked up his spot?
Grade of slaw, everyone

Yeah, I agree with u in that he must not be comfortable with the play book. Tomlin said before the game that every healthy player would play, then tajh didn't play. Definitely something up with that.
All I know is when tajh is comfortable in that pocket, he can make nfl throws all day. He has a great deep ball. But when he gets rattled, he is not much of a qb. I wish he could somehow fix that.

Tajh is the best QB in Clemson history.
How can he not read a defense. He's been playing QB since he was 8. I'm petty sure he can read a D.
