Muscrap likely will survive next year if he manages six wins and a bowl game, but that won’t be easy. Personally I envision his team losing to Clemson, UGa., UF, UK, TAMU and BAMA. If his team loses another game then the AD and BOT have a decision to make!

Don't worry. They didn't think they'd ever lose to Kentucky, much less 5 years in a row.

I think he's gone in 2 years. They will forgive him for the brutal schedule next year and then can him the following year when they can't stand losing to Clemson and scraping by to get to a bowl.

This has not even crossed my mind. What a perfect fit !
With that sour look on his face all the time, you wouldn’t be able to tell if it’s from the odor of the city or the product on the field.

Only a matter of months before Stockholm Syndrome sets in again and the fans will be predicting a 9-3 season, only to be savagely disappointed again by November. Expect the Muschamp firing talk to turn up at the end of next season, unless they find a way to lose to UNC/UT/Vandy/Open Date. If they go 5-7, while at the same time we’re headed to the Playoffs again, Muschamp, Ray Tanner, and some of the BOT’s will be run out of town.

His dynasty is about to start

Dabo Year 1 4-3 Year 2 9-5 Year 3 6-7
Mustcoot Year 1 6-7 Year 2 9-4 Year 3 7-6
Since the first three years were similar the only conclusion you can make is that the next 10 years will be similar too.
Plus, have you seen their next savior at QB? Better than their last savior that's for sure!

Plus he just got his new facilities. I bet he will be there for a long time. It's not like they have other great options anyway.

Tanner and the BOT certainly hoped so wh n they gave him a raise and contract extension, but after the Belk bowl disaster they are likely having second thoughts like many fans.
He will survive 2019 unless they finish 4-8 or worse.
Go Tigers ??!!

My prediction is a bastardized version of what we did with Lawrence to start the season. Wins over UNC and Charleston S. A blowout loss to Bama that the fan base will accept with no issue. Then a loss at MO, a melt down after losing to KB. Hellinski named the starter, Bently transfers, and they lose to Kentucky the next week. They get blown out at Georgia and then lose to FL at home. All hope is lost. He is fired either before or after the TN game.

I’m hoping they win 7 games, he gets a lifetime contract with a monster raise, and a $200 million buyout! That should keep them in the dump for the rest of my life!!

LOL - coots are just too dumb to fire this clown. But, they are smart enough to know that NOBODY wants to take that job. They had to wade thru at least rejections prior to finding someone that was desperate enough to take that job. They had a head start on every other team that lost their coach because Stevie quit mid-season like a CHICKEN. But even with the head start on everyone, I think they were the last team to actually find a candidate that would take the job. That has to weigh heavily on their decision.
No - I think they stick with muscrap (Borrowing that name if okay) because they are forced to do so, and either become a wimmenz BBall school, or choose to switch to an easier conference so they don't have to play good teams any longer.
