Fun with the Peter Principle.

May 18, 2020, 10:00 PM

Look it up if you're not familiar, or since it's T-Net, just use your imagination.

This is Congress. Once you've been there four terms, or eight years, if you're not on to Governor, Senator, or Other, move on. It can't be a career. It's the people's chamber, and entrenched careerists only serve to burden it down from by not having what it takes to advance, but stuck via old glad handed ties, familiarity, and party holds. Needs a fix in a big way. Life expectancy in the Founders' days wasn't as long as some have held seats. How were they to know such a thing?

Amendment for term limits has worked well enough for President since, or else Obama 3.

Think?

If she's a hollerer, she'll be a screamer.
If she's a screamer, she'll get you arrested.

only 50% of the people vote so it is our own fault, after we fix that, bulldoze DC into the river and move the whole thing to Nebraska

What do you have against Nebraska other than we don't visit Omaha often enough? At least they're not Oklahoma.

I would be fine with term limits, just as long as there is a 5 year waiting period to become a lobbyist. A lot of those guys serve a couple of terms to make the right connections, then go work against the public interest in Public relations or lobbying.

Those are two professions we could completely eliminate and the world would be a better place.
