Front Page Story: Postgame meal an omen of bowl destination?

Postgame meal an omen of bowl destination?

Clemson players, coaches and staff filed out of the locker room Saturday night to find a postgame meal waiting, something they could eat on the long bus ride back to Clemson. Was it an omen? Full Story »

Who cares? We lost our bowl game last night. No win against any other team will erase 5 in a row to the scum of college football. And TAMU will beat our ### if we end up playing them. You thought Shaw ran all over us? Geez Louise man!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree. I can't even think about a bowl game right now.

Dec 1, 2013, 11:07 AM

My god. 5 years. I'm going to go watch our last win against those guys, if I can get the VCR to work.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

HEY! They might can win that game-----they've got a month to

Put me firmly in the who cares category. Where ever we go, it will be poorly attended by Clemson fans. The SC game is what was important.

How the hell is this feathered loser still allowed to post here? The only thing more pathetic than our play last night is the moderation of this forum.

where I live in N.C. has a son who is with ChickFiLa. He told me yesterday that his son was doing the meals for Clemson In Columbia. I think they have an agreement with the U. to cater all the opponents meals. He is a big TarHeel so I am sure this will be a big joke for him! Last nights game was no joke for us, was it?

while we generally travel well, i don't think Clemson fans would spend all that money to watch us get killed by one of the best teams in college football...don't care how many months we have to prepare...Saban gets a month to prepare and all we will watch is Tajh on his back all night long. No way our O line can hold back Bama. I watched that game in Atlanta the last time..don't want to see it again...

Same here. I saw all I needed to see in the pre game warm ups to know that Clemson isn't in the same planet with 'Bama football. After watching the Tides pre-game I saw how much we lacked in offensive linemen. Night and day. I'll say it again, the Tigers are never going to be a powerhouses until the coaches bring in some five star horses to help the plethora of 'athletes' we get. I wonder how many more quarterbacks we will offer before we get a real lineman?!?!

lol hopefully we never play Alabama-if we can not bet uscs there is no way to even stay in a game with Alabama, we tried that a year or so ago and it was over with the first play.

Our offensive line would struggle against Bama. However, this is an ideal matchup for our defense. Pure running game with no chance of a running QB. I like this game and would expect for us to win it.

Boyd just does not throw the ball well when he only has one - half second to make a play.

We have a team of high stat loosers!
What was martavious doing any where near that punt reception?
Why couldn't tahj throw balls to Watkins where he could run with them. Lead him!!
In the last 2 series we could have scored again and been respectable
Why did tahj throw it right to the defense????
You didnt want to get anywhere near that spread did you???
I don't want to see this team play in any bowl game. !!

If possible, I'd like to go ahead and get another shot at them this year instead of having to agonize until the end of next season.

If we play Alabama, then we will get steamrolled. That is the one matchup that I don't want to see. I don't want to play A&M either, but we would at least stand a chance. Against Bama, we stand zero chance. They would demoralize us. Give Saban a month to prepare for Tajh Boyd and they would shut us out. My score prediction for that game would be Alabama 42 and us 0. Call me all the names you want, but I am a Clemson grad as well as a lifelong Clemson fan. However, I live in the real world and not the land of make-believe. With that said, give me A&M all day long, but I want no part of Bama. Ideally, I'd like to see us play someone like Central Florida or Northern Illinois.
