It might just be conditioning for the field events. I was a baseball player so I didn't run track but the kids from my school all had to do conditioning whether you ran the 100 meter or threw the discuss/shot put.

Whats the point in recruiting this Kid when he clearly wants to go to OSU. Lets quit wasting offers on kids who have the mind set on a college and if offered will more than likely to go visit then commit.
