"clemson's db's played deep..." if they had they would have been able to stop the long run. the defense did not look good on that play. a secondary is supposed to stop runs 10yds or longer. Other than #17 i don't see the grit and nastiness that lb's and cb's and safeties need to have. the ability to play good off side defense needs to be worked on. if you demand it, you will get it.
