Anyone think this guy could beat out bellamy? Haven't watched any of his videos. i know MB has incredible upside, but we really just need a good solid back who is consistent and will hold on to the ball.

Haven't seen him play at all, but if he has the ability to keep the ball in his hands, then yes.

what upside is this when he cant hold on to it? he is in fact more fumble prone than the beginning of the year. one thing to do it. quite another to not learn from it

I'm not saying that MB won't ever be a good RB. But he has been a bust this year. If he doesn't go the distance his first carry, chances are more than likely the other team will end up with the ball.

It may have something to do with body maturity/weight training, ie increasing the biceps...to allow the ball carrier to hang on when being hit, at the college level. That's a big jump from HS to College. 'not sure how many realize that until they get thrown into that position.
A year under their belt (redshirt) before they hit the college football field is probably helpful to most, to add that additional muscle mass under supervision. You can certainly see how few are ready to play as a freshman..it's pretty small percentage. That's why it's so amazing to watch when it happens.
GO TIGERS!!!

This guy has a chance to be a superstar in Morris's offense

He's the perfect weapon, a hybrid WR/RB.
