I know ... I know ... what a waste of time.
Anyways, both swore up and down that Tua was a guaranteed Top5 pick, regardless of the injuries.
I say B.S. ... he doesn't have the measurables (height / weight) that NFL suits require ... plus they are usually scared crapless of drafting injured players that high.
I don't have anything against Tua, I just don't see Top 5.

Agreed. NFL loves “measurables” and hate injury prone risks. Tua is a fantastic athlete and a great college QB, but based on prior draft day selections, most teams are going to spend the extra millions on someone who won’t burn up money sitting in the injury tent during most games.

3 injuries and 3 surgeries in 2 years with the last one potentially career ending or limiting. No way a team is going to draft him where he gets a $30M+ Contract plus huuuuuge signing bonus and guaranteed money. It wouldn't make much business sense.
I doubt at this point his career, with the injuries, he is even insurable.

He was going to go top 3 along with Burrow and Young before

he got hurt. The question is how much the injury causes him to fall. He could still potentially go top 5. I would be pretty surprised if he falls out of the top 10 unless the team medical evaluations on him are bad.

His hip injury could end up really bad. He has a better

Chance of recovery because they got him into surgery so fast. That type of hip injury can easily be a career ender.
I Hope he gets a chance in the NFL. I’m curious to see how well he will do.

Just about every single story has stated he will make a full recovery. Not only is medicine well advanced since Bo Jackson has a similar injury, but as you noted they also treated this much quicker. They didn't know what Bo's injury was...he dealt with it for weeks. They re-set Tua's hip within minutes.

As an NFL GM I wouldn’t gamble on the kid. He’s barely playing 4th quarters in college and he’s always hurt.
1 sack in the NFL and he’ll be hurt again. I hate it for the kid. He’s a great talent

Hate this for the young man. Good kid. He will still be getting life changing money however.

I think the Dolphins will take him in the top 5, no rush there to compete right away. He can sit/learn/get healthy for a year and they will likely have another top 5 pick in 2021 to get him some help.

I'm afraid you're right.
Poor Christian. Went from 2 natties in 3 years to a team that will sandbag for multiple years in order to get multiple high picks. They can't afford to miss on those choices.
Christian is sometimes losing as many games in a month as he did in his entire college career.
