Brad has shown us what he can't do...

[14]

and that is recruit talent. The guy can coach but he clearly has shown his inability to win over top talent with a vision of what can be possible. Dabo's stock is sky high because he has done what Brad can't. We gave Brad plenty of time, so for me it's over. Think about it for a few seconds: Clemson has all any up and coming, bright coach could want in order to prove himself...play the best programs in the nation, a future world class venue, money and a huge fan base hungering for respect. Brad gave it a shot...and if you haven't noticed he's not the most dynamic personality around; so that does not help. Its really just time to go so this is my little push to get the ball rolling.

and oh yea BTW: Thanks DRad for extending his contract....freaking brilliant move! That's strike one...we are watching you now. You keep Jack around next year and that's strike two.

I love these comprehensive rebuttals; how about taking two seconds and tell us why Brad is your boy and needs to stay?

Donte Grantham offer list:

Cincinnati
UConn
Michigan
Texas
VCU
West Virgina

Ty Hudson offer list:

Ok State
VCU
Kansas St
Tennessee
Xavier

but go on about not recruiting talent.

I will also add

Gabe Devoe:

Xavier

Legend Robertin:

Oklahoma St.
Pitt

Gabe was from a tiny school but got hot late in the recruiting game after Clemson signed him. Legend had a few nice offers and had a few more on the way. Indiana was highly interested to the point of Tom Crean coming down for an official visit with Legend before he went with Clemson.

Devoe and Blossomgame are also top 150 players***

Recruiting is about seeing future talent that has the ability to perform at a high level not picking guys who have a quasi impressive offer list. Brad is failing miserably.

Give me a Brad Brownell ready to go big man 6'-10" or over recruit who was ready to go on arrival.....That's where its at?...Brad cannot do!....All Brad's ever gotten us is an outside perimeter game with non-consistent shooters....and no dependable inside game....In the ACC, you MUST have both.....And what ever happened to our pressing game to create turnovers?...All needed in the ACC.....Brad's been overmatched since his arrival with nowhere to go!!!!

Hiring Audra Smith and now the new volleyball coaches, Hugh and Stephanie Hernesman from Northwestern State, were two decisions based primarily, if not entirely, on considerations other than who is the absolute best possible person available for the job.

Exactly !!!!

If you put together a list of the top collegiate volleyball coaches and assistant coaches across the nation, this guy and his wife don't crack the top 100.

Yea I would hope we could pull someone from somewhere other than "Northwestern State".... where ever the #### that is.

Also if anyone asks you to post that list it is a trap

I offer one of his posts from last fall:

"Re: Same Old Story: Dabo loses the important game
Posted: Sep 22, 2014 9:16 AM

6 years in and one ACC Championship; no big upset win to put us in Championship contention; no overachieving; no great story line. When will DRad wake up and put Dabo on notice? Oh! I forgot DRad locked him in for how many more years with that sweet contract extension. ###!!!!!!!!Seems we will be stuck seeing the same results and hearing the same excuses for at least four more years unless the BOT pays dearly. If Dabs cannot produce a Championship by next year his head has got to roll....at any price. Time will be up in my book as it should for all who want an elite level Clemson Football program"

7 years in and still no ACC championship; when u think he is gonna close the deal? 7 more years? I'm sick of those fans" who don't demand accountability of their coaches and AD.

Actually it's 62 years and no ACC championship ...***

fan base is pretty small unless we're winning, then the football fans start jumping on the bandwagon

No disrespect but if Brad can coach, why the difficulty with

inbound plays for us. It is downright terrifying!

badge-donor-05yr.jpg

So, you have the power to fire the AD and Brownell

Posted: Mar 12, 2015 4:31 PM

Brownell not going anywhere. When has Clemson ever been able to recruit Top 25 talent? Never. It ain't happening. That's why every man who has ever lived has bolted for another job when they get a chance. They want to go some place where the fan base doesn't whine and ##### all the time and understands basketball. Clemson fans have the whining and bitching down pat. But they certainly don't understand basketball.

None of the "advantages" you cite are true ...

Posted: Mar 13, 2015 2:36 AM

He doesn't "get to" play the best teams in the nation ... he "has to" play them night in and night out.

The future "world class venue" if it ever comes about is still on the drawing board and seems to be getting diminished with every new concept drawing that is released.

Relatively little money is spent on the Clemson basketball program relative to really successful college hoops programs.

The "huge fan base" hungering for respect rides around in a band wagon waiting for Duke or UNC to come to Littlejohn before they fill the seats.
