For the crowd saying we always run on 1st down

Oct 16, 2016, 4:17 PM

and just b*tching about the play-calling in general.

We ran 17 times on first down. We passed 22 times on first down. 3 of those runs were Watson keepers and 1 was the snap over his head in OT.

Maybe take 5 minutes to do some research before you post this stuff? Or perhaps the facts just don't fit your narrative so you choose to ignore them?

Read option to the left side. He hands it off

It's not always run on 1st down.

It's the same ole run and how many of those 22 1st down passes that were incomplete were follow by a run off center in 2nd down ? Every now and then, when you miss on first down, you have to go Chad Morris on second down.

That said, people need to realize that this is TE's second year of calling plays in his life. He'll get better,he'll get a better feel on what to call and when to call it as time goes on.

They've still only lost one game as OC's and will get better !

But during the offseason Scelliott were better than Morris

as was clearly evidenced by Cole Stoudt's bowl game against Oklahoma. At least that's what i was told on Tigernet. Now they stink?

I like them better than Morris

But, that's just one man's opinion.

how about the crowd that says why

Oct 16, 2016, 4:30 PM

Run it up middle 25 times a game or only have 6 play calls for an entire game? No element of surprise.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe they should do some research and gather some

Oct 16, 2016, 4:35 PM

facts to support that claim?

How many of the 1st down passes were bubble screens? Seemed like a lot.

Thought we seemed predictable...

Tigers have appeared more relaxed on the road than at home.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

more pressure to keep the home streak alive?***

Being balanced is important. I think most fans that argue this point just want to see different style run plays, stretch plays, toss plays, off tackle runs. Running up the middle is not working like we would like it to and that starts up front.

The playcalling was atrocious.
