No he’s not my favorite....but

I’m watching the 2016 Clemson/Louisville game. During the run down The Hill he said if you’re lucky enough to witness it you won’t forget it. It’s the greatest entrance in sports.

I remember thinking back then that if we could put 6-7 points on the board, we had this game won! Defense still wins games, but it's not quite as close, or as absolutely critical, as it used to be. Scoring has come a long way, it's more "arm-and-hands"-ball now than it is "foot"-ball, but defense still rules in both respects. It was certainly exciting to watch "Mr. Excitement" play that game. (And btw, Levon Kirkland, if I recall correctly, was an unrecruited 2-star who came to Clemson because we had an open spot to fill at the last minute, and Coach Ford liked what he saw.)

Pretty sure he said 8-9 wins was the best Clemson could ever hope for in football and that we shouldn't have gotten rid of Tommy. He said it right after Bowden was let go.
