He deserves it and is a class act. But I have a feeling a QB or two will dazzle at the combine and shoot up the board. Manziel most likely.

We have really never saw Tajh with an above average O line. So none of us really know how good Tajh could be.

A lot of water will flow over that ### before draft day; anything can happen, and often does. I wouldn't count my chickens, or tigers, before they hatch.

Ummm, "dude", who's the team who has NOT been motivated enough the past 4 years? You obviously don't recall the game last year or the year before when some comments from some of our players made it to the chickens locker room and they mocked our players as they pushed them around on the field for those very comments. You should get a clue, "dude"! You obviously never played football or followed the Clemson/USuC rivaly very closely the past decade!

And quit acting like you're the only person in the world that knows what goes on in a locker room. If you think the Ole Ball Coot, or his staff, or his players peruse the internet looking for draft predictions by third party sites that are reposted by TigerNet, so that they can use it to motivate their guys in a game, you're delusional. Now if TigerNet had posted something like "Boyd and Sammy Watkins are the greatest QB/WR combo in the history of SC and nobody from Cootlumbia can compete", then you would have a point. But this is just a draft prediction that TigerNet didn't even make! Take your flaming somewhere else; we have level-headed and intelligent conversations about football here.

We may lose the game with SCar because Tigernet posted Tajh Boyd's projected draft position. I guess we shouldn't even make the trip now. Scar is going to be so fired up because the sporting news projected Tajh to be drafted ahead of Doo Doo.

Whoever gets TB will be gaining a real asset and a leg up on the competition. His attitude alone is enough to garner draft consideration.

Boyd has always carried himself with the upmost class and has represented himself, his family and school well.
Regardless who is drafted where, TB and JC will have an opportunity and should both do well. They will take care of their family financially and more importantly realize a life long dream.
I never understood why anyone would root against a kid/young man in the pros just because of where he went to school.

I am sure Clowney will be a good pro player. He has the tools. I don't know his real leadership qualities, as I don't follow him at all, other than I did hear about the response he made saying that so many QB's are scared of him (a really stupid thing to say, even though I imagine he really thinks that). I am certain about Boyd's maturity and leadership, though, and whoever gets him will have a coach- like player who has great leadership skills and a maturity well beyond his years. Also, I see TB as investing wisely and being financially successful. I don't see that in Clowney, but again I don't know much about him, nor do I care to. He may be a genius, but if he is he hides it very well.

Would this be a Nuk Tajh reconnect in the NFL
I am sure that has a ton to do with it too
Look at Colts who brought Luck's OC from Stanford to the NFL with him
Texans bring in Nuk (their future at WR) and look to bring in his QB to throw to him
Could work Still think tajh is a gamble at QB, his record against teasm with a pulse is not nearly as good as his padded stats against weak teams
Could just be the schedule but stats at 2-8 UVA are nothing like stats against a mediocre SEC East team in USC

Tajh boyd is not a top ten pick. Tajh Boyd is not a first round pick. Does anybody on here really think Tajh is going to be picked ahead of Clowney? If you do then idk what your eyes are seeing. It is pretty obvious to me that Clowney has solidified his spot as 1 or 2. He will go 1 or 2. Tajh Boyd is simply not a great quarterback. He is a very good college quarterback who had the benefit of having probably the two best wide outs in clemson history to throw to. WHAT IS HIS RECORD AGAINST THE TWO TEAMS WE HAVE TO BEAT TO BE BIGTIME? He beat FSU two years ago and brought us an Acc championship and dangit we all wanted more. But he is 1-2 against FSU and has never beaten the coots. His resume may be nice looking but come on man for the Clemson Tigers to be elite, we have to beat FSU and SC. And he simply hasnt. He has a chance to be loved forever by clemson fans by beating connor shaw and clowney on their last home game ending the nations longest home winning streak. But Tajh Boyd a top ten pick? please

I love Tajh as much if not more than the next guy, but I will be stunned if he goes in the top 10. In my honest opinion, I don't quite think he's displayed the necessary skill sets as well as some other guys. I predict Tajh will go 15-20ish. The only reason I think he'll go in the first round at all is because there's a lot of need for QBs in the NFL at the moment. Also, Keenum is looking solid for the Texans at the moment; we'll have to see how the rest of their season plays out before determining whether or not they still think they need a QB from the first round. I do have to say though: after 2012, the prospect of reuniting Tajh and Nuk is pretty tempting. Oh, and Andre Johnson is kinda good too.
And it's hilarious watching the Clown's paycheck dwindle with every snap he takes off due to "Mystery Ailment". He'll still wind up making way more than he deserves after this season, but it's nice to see him finally fall from 1st. That should cost him a couple million.
