He sure does like to praise the other team's players no matter how good or bad they might be. Every QB we play is great and throws an accurate ball. Hopefully we turn everything around and back to normal this week! Gotta get it going again, final month is near.

What do you want him to say? "The guy sucks"

Oct 29, 2013, 11:23 AM

It's just coach speak. You have to know what you're about to read when you click on these press conference summaries.

Sounds like Dabo is a realist like I am. However,...

Oct 29, 2013, 12:52 PM

His comment about the trenches is a bit dismissive of what is clearly a problem. At least Morris is allowed to speak his mind. I'm sure behind the scenes Dabo shares the same concerns that we all share about the O line.

I guess it's possible that deep down CDS is a realist...

Oct 29, 2013, 1:10 PM

but he's never said anything in a press conference that would lead me to believe that.

He's always way too positive for my liking. I'm pretty sure he's an optimist in every sense of the word.

Exactly what I was trying to say, it wasn't nothing negative towards Dabo. Its almost like you might as well record one saying for every press conf and repeat it for every team. Thumbs down the post lol

Try To Play????

Oct 29, 2013, 1:28 PM

I understand we will try to play our best football
in November. The thing is looking at what we are up
against within our program, within our conference,
outside our program, outside our conference, accross
our state and accross the nation....we HAVE TOplay our best football in November.

Ha. I like his comment on the ESPN Broadcasters...

Oct 29, 2013, 1:38 PM

"Don't let anybody walk through your mind with their dirty little feet."

I'm curious as to why anyone would ask him about that, though.

Pardon me Dabo, but Suckinger "is a GREAT football player." What are you smokin' coach, 'cause I want some.

He's not even a mediocre football player. Taking up for him because he is one of your chosen doesn't make him any better! He is absolutely a TERRIBLE blocker, has the dropsies as well as being a fumbler. Can't tell you the number of times I've seen a block missed, then watched the replay only to see that it was he that missed said block.

Lots of people take up for him by saying that his fumble didn't cost us the FSU game, and they're right, it didn't. But the air just went out of our guys after that play. Don't think the outcome would have been near that bad w/o his fumble. He cannot continue to rest on the laurels of one good play against Georgia. Time to at least play someone that CAN BLOCK!

CDS loves the guy because he reminds him of...himself. A WR w/o many skills, but has great effort. It's been proven many times before, talent is more important than effort. The two together are best, but otherwise, give me talent.
