I was a high school coach for a year and I missed many family memories. I couldn't imagine the time college and pro coaches put in. I am sure it meant the world to his son and he will always remember that dad came to his first game, even if he didn't play. I have more respect for Rex Ryan doing that.

He didn't miss a practice or game. He missed "cut day" which we all know the decision on cuts was probably made a week before that day. The GM is the most important guy at that time. That is his job.

To beat a guy down for watching his son play in his first college football game is complete garbage. I would understand if he missed a practice......but he literally missed nothing.

Andy Reid lost a son to a drug overdose not to long ago. If Ryan has his priorities in order with his family-who has a right to judge him.
