These interviews really really suck. You can hear about 4/5 other interviews going on at the same time in ALL of them.

It's not the best place for interviews, a crowded little concrete hallway under the wez with everybody vying for position. I helped with audio for a tv station yesterday and had to wiggle my way into places to stick a mic in somebody's face right next to another interview. A better mic would diminish some of the background noise but you're so close in there you can't get rid of it all.
