Houston runs a 3-4...don't think Rennie has the size to play on the line in the 3-4.

Maybe they're planning on a move to strong side linebacker? I don't know.

Good to see all these Tigers gettin' a shot at the next level.

Not really. 3-4 DEs are usually in the 290 range.

As mentioned above, I'm not sure how he fits into Wade Philips' 3-4 scheme. He doesn't have the size to anchor the middle, and Houston's already stacked with young, high-motor edge-rushers like JJ Watt, Brooks Reed, Connor Barwin, and now Whitney Mercilus.

They likely see him as an Antonio Smith lite... a versatile, blue-collar down lineman.

Either way, I hope he sticks. Houston's one of the up-and-coming NFL powers.
