How dumb can somebody get? Talent means little if you dont't have character. But then what do you expect from a jacka$$ who brags about being lazy. I wish we were deep enough at tight end to throw his a$$ off the team.

Dabo can, and has, taken care of the situation. We have no clue what is going on, so speculation just makes it worse, especially speculation from a SCar fan trying to stir the pot.

I hope not, but Leggett hasn't taken college seriously in practice or in the classroom.
Coaches' must have known something might be up since they went got two TE's in the next class.

So does this mean we start Seckinger and Cooper?

Has Cooper played much this year at all? I remember seeing his number once or twice but don't remember him making any noteworthy plays.

He had a sweet 11 yd. TD catch against NC State but other than that, run blocking seems to be it.

Seckinger weighs about 205 to 210. He is no more a tight end than Dabo is a middle guard. That's a joke.

Suckinger couldn't block my 85 year old mother. Seriously, he is a TERRIBLE blocker. Cooper is a better blocker, but has the dropsies, one of which led to an INT in last year's bowl game. I'd take my chances with Darrell Smith. At least he'll knock some people on their a**es.
When are the players gonna get it through their thick skulls that Dabo don't play around when it comes to discipline?

Our coach is quite the disciplinarian ...and I respect his decisions. Guy believes in high standards. Its a rarity in this business called CFB. Just check out the drunken egomaniac coddler in Columbia...talk about a lack of institutional control. Go Tigers !

Major disappointment. The tight end position was wide open
Nov 13, 2013, 8:00 PM
|
|
this year. Cooper was injured and has played sparingly. An undersized re-positioned WR is the mainstay. What a golden opportunity for Leggett and/or McCullough to seize the opportunity. It just never materialized. Hopefully, Richard or Smith will have the work ethic, attitude, and physical tools to make a difference next year.

Easy guys.
Nov 14, 2013, 8:29 AM
|
|
Ya'll are ready to kick this guy off the team and don't even know the circumstances of his suspension. He is being disciplined. The purpose of discipline is to grow someone into a better person. This may be the first time someone has cared enough about him to try to make him into a good man. Many coaches only care about winning. Dabo wants to instill character in his players and believes it will pay dividends down the road, as was the case with Dwayne Allen. Give the guy a chance to grow up before condemning him to being kicked off the team.

I don't know if Leggett will shape up during his time at Clemson, if he'll learn his lessons after he's gone, or if he'll never develop into a man of character, but I do know none of us start out that way. We grow into it. Dabo has proven to be a great mentor to these young men, and I pray that Jordan will be receptive to discipline.

Violation of team rules

Maybe one team rule is to put forth effort in practice. That would fit with his "lazy" quote. Maybe he's not trying hard enough in practice.
