Great win against Pitt!
But nothing changes guys.... Brownell is leading this team no where. Disagree? Ok.... tune in for the future, you’ll see. Next year it will be another failure with more excuses to why we didn’t make the tournament. You will have clowns on here defending and supporting his every misguided step.
It will still be failed expectations and head scratching coaching decisions.
10 years..... of nothing. We need to move on. Fools gold.

I feel DRad will have CBB back next year. This team has actually done much better than I thought we would. At some point we have to start CONSISTENTLY making the NCAA tournament but it ain't this year. CBB will get one more year.

Then it’s another year wasted. We need to cut bait.

I'm not a Brownell supporter, but you do have to admit that this team has made tremendous progress throughout the course of the season. Last night you saw a glimmer of what things could be like. The inconsistency comes from having such a young team. If Brad can hang on to everybody on the roster, next year could be pretty good.

Regardless of whether or not Clemson should have a new coach

posts like this are a dime a dozen. It's like a boilerplate email. Same crap without any original points. Again and again and again.
Getting emo and attacking other Clemson fans over opinions about coaching is so completely lame.
People are allowed to be happy about wins. Do you see yourself as the Minister of Perspective? Are you responsible for making sure that nobody is happy with a win?
Posts like the OP are a threat to enjoying sports.

I'll ask you the same questions I asked someone else

the other day.
Let's assume that Brad is fired tomorrow.
1. Who do you want Clemson to hire? (give me 5 potential names) 2. How much do you pay the coach we hire? (yearly amount) 3. What is your plan to ensure that this coach has what he needs to be successful? 4. What is your plan to retain this coach over the long term?

That's an easy question to answer. I happen to know of a national championship winning coach, who recruits countless McDonald's All-Americans every year, that's won countless games in Chapel Hill, and who would love to come to a school like Clemson that would appreciate him. His name is Ol' Roy.

Roy Williams could not win at Clemson. Because ...

... because he could not recruit to Clemson.
He’s never coached at a place that didn’t recruit itself.
And he would never, ever come to Clemson because he knows he couldn’t win.
And it’s not like the well is dry in a Chapel Hill this year.
It just appears Roy is out of gas.
