Florida state canceled game

Along with Florida, S Florida, and Miami. Interesting that FSU would cancel being that the game was noon on Saturday and in Tallahassee.

I'm sure it has to do with travel. I remember when hurricane Hugo hit there were a lot of empties in Death Valley..

No doubt. I'm wondering if Clemson should move this game to noon. I wasn't in board at first, but this would allow folks to travel back to wherever they are going to brace the storm before sundown. Keep the game in the valley, win the game, and get out.

It's not going to make landfall onto the continental US until Sunday, right? Not really necessary for SC to panic too much, especially since it's not going to be much more than a tropical rainstorm by the time it makes it up to SC, and it'll be well after any football game we have.

Remember, it's not just about local weather. It's about resources, hotel rooms, first responder availability, creating an incentive for folks to travel who shouldn't, etc etc

Having to cancel the Louisiana Monroe game is more bad news for FSU. Now their freshman QB will have to make his first start against Miami.
