Finebaum and Callers

ESPN and Finebaum need to realize the callers are their 'customers' and college sports on ESPN is the product being promoted. Not. Paul.

In any other customer-facing business, his treatment of callers would result in immediate termination. Rather than count his lucky stars at being blessed with a radio and television show (with a radio face, at that), he somehow feels his opinion resonates in a material way. I'd show his toosh the door.

The callers are not the customers. They are part of the product. The listeners are also the product. The customer is the advertiser. They are the ones buying the FB Radio show product.

Paul a bit of a shock jock. You listen because 1) the idiots who call in, 2) and because "I can't believe what he said" factor.

and I have...but "dumb" isn't one of them.

He knows exactly what he's doing. I'm guessing his ratings back that up and IMO, that's a sad commentary on "fandom" in general.
