Thunderstruck: Tigers hold second practice in Arizona

Thunderstruck. AC/DC’s hit song echoed from the loudspeakers at Clemson’s bowl practice early Wednesday afternoon, the song title perhaps echoing the coach’s thoughts after a less-than-impressive Tuesday practice.

Anything AC/DC should get that blood pumping, play some Hells bells

Great to hear about Spiers' potential ...

If he were to become a "weapon" that would be terrific. But honestly, if punting would just become average, that would be a real blessing in itself.

Hoping Clemson coaches brought their "A" game to preparation

Dec 28, 2016, 6:46 PM

I get the feeling Meyer and company did.

A team is who they are at this point. However hope we studied our own tendencies and have some different twists to formations and plays - especially on offense. On defense, I would challenge our defensive line to create havoc while limiting blitzes.

At this point -- After a long season

I know every practice cannot be a gem or masterpiece, however, it makes me a little nervous to hear that yesterday's practice was less than "Stellar". Sam Hubbard of OSU said the 1st Team Defense has already completed 750 Clemson reps. Hopefully, Dabo will have them Dialed in (he nearly always has-sans Pittsburgh)! Go Tigers!

Powell returning kickoffs, YES! He was brilliant in Shrine

If he's that good , I don't understand why we didn't use him this year . I know our #1 guy was good at placing the ball , but he wasn't exactly a boomer .

The Fighting Artichokes??...In any event,

Dec 29, 2016, 1:32 AM

I'm a big Grady Jarret fan and to hear Nyles Pinckney compared favorably is reassuring about upcoming DL's

Nikki, don't want to write too much

You know some shady osu scouter is probably reading this.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If Spiers is that good, let him kick NOW. Punting is a key..

Dec 29, 2016, 1:39 PM

weakness of ours and who knows when we may get back to this point so close to the Natty. Special teams screwed us last year. We are fortunate to get another shot. Let's hope special teams doesn't lose it again.
