Famous Jameis...

Jan 6, 2015, 10:06 AM

Looking over the underclassmen that have declared for the NFL draft, I don't see Famous Jameis listed anywhere. What is the deadline for submission...I always thought it was mid-January? Could he be returning for a final hoorah in Tally? I sure hope the $OB does...it would be amazing to watch DW4 wipe that smirk off his face in the valley this year, and send FreeShoesU, as well as his draft stock to non existence. Plus his on and off the field antics, coupled with Jimbo's comical explanations are great fillers for the football season. Maybe we can get a clip of this captured in the valley lol...

Thoughts any juan?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Guess he's not ready for the paycut.

Jan 6, 2015, 11:43 AM [ in reply to He's about to announce his return today. ]

Or maybe he is worried that Roger Goodell will ban him from the NFL before he makes it there due to his prior transgressions.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Jimbo is dumber than I thought if he lets him return

Jan 6, 2015, 12:42 PM [ in reply to He's about to announce his return today. ]

he needs to get that Jameis stank away from FSU as quickly as possible, for the program's sake.

Does it really matter, He's not going to have Nick O'Leary to bail his A$$ out next year. He seemed to catch all Famous Anus' clutch catches this year.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Very true. O'Leary is going to make a good NFL TE.***

Jan 6, 2015, 11:26 AM

Strategically, bad move on Jameis's part. Nobody likes him. He's not going to win the Heisman again.

and clemson loses 8 starters on defense, 3 offensive lineman

Jan 6, 2015, 11:41 AM

that played huge minutes, the best blocking te the tigers have and the number of leaders counted amongst those is another conversation in and of itself...

i can't wait until clemson has the depth of talent that fswho stockpiles & hopefully we as fans find out the tigers have that this year.

next man up.

Too bad Jimbo didn't talk to him like this for the last two years. Then maybe he would have been able to discipline him when he acted like a two year old during games. I have no respect for Jimbo for letting Jameis get away with so much crap.

Jan 6, 2015, 11:30 AM

Just maybe someone has gotten to him and convinced him if he straightens up his act off the field he could be a top pick next year. The Oregon QB is gonna be the #1 QB taken. I don't like the guy at all, but the dude can play QB....

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He better be ready to scramble this year...***

Jan 6, 2015, 12:42 PM

Why would he return when he's losing 4 of his 5 starting Offensive Lineman, his elite receiver in Rashad Greene, and the best TE in the country in Nick O'Leary? Winston would be a top-10 pick this year despite his numbers not being that great (25 TDs and 18 Ints).

I don't mind Jameis coming back. Winston had a huge sophomore slump without Kelvin Benjamin bailing him out, and next year he won't have Greene or O'Leary. His coming back probably means FSU wins 10 games instead of 7 or 8 next year, but it'll also mean another year of public embarrassment for FSU. I'm honestly kind of surprised FSU even lets him come back given all of the problems he's caused.
