teams price gouge on real poor quality food. I cant imagine what corners will be cut for the discounted stuff.

It's actually Arthur Blank being smart, which is usual for him. He's slashing the heck out of concession prices - and doing his best to reduce at least some ticket prices to semi-reasonable levels - because he is aware that you need a "scene" around a team. He wants a packed house full of enthusiastic fans, every game - be it the Falcons or his new Atlanta United FC soccer team, which is already putting 55K in Bobby Dodd, every game (which means he'll probably get more butts in Bobby Dodd's seats this year than the Yellowjackets have in the last 4-5 seasons, combined, and I am not exaggerating).

He's aware one of the things that really alienates fans is price gouging. He wants it to be affordable...and he's aware that he'll then make far more money off jerseys, gear, and advertising dollars off his fan base than he would overcharging them for tickets and food.

Arthur Blank, I might have mentioned, is a smart guy.

I love it, however They will need to do that AND MORE "IF" they can't get the retractable roof working.
