FSU Parking.. first time

Im going to Tallahassee for the game, my first trip down.
I don't have a parking pass, any thoughts/tips on where to try to park and what time I should be there at the latest? I plan on going early but just want to get as best an idea as possible.

Been once. Parked about a mile from the stadium in front of somebodies house. Everybody else was doing it...
