Anybody else annoyed by the comments after Peake's TD?

Sometimes I wish they wouldn't include the commentary on these replays. Every time it plays now people will think of Clemson and/or Peake as getting away with a push. This reminds me of the time when Seckinger against UGA dove for that TD and the voice over said, "Dive! No, short of the end zone! Going to be marked down at the 2 yard line." It turned out to be a huge touchdown but every replay with commentary you hear those words. Bugs the hell out of me.

First world problems, oh well.

But a receiver running downfield at anywhere near full speed can't push backward very effectively. I think that's why they don't call it much.

it's a moved done by an experienced player who knows where the refs are. I thought it was more of a stiff arm than a push... but he didn't call so it doesn't really matter.

he got away with it. TD. We've been on the other side of that. There is some skill in getting away with a push off. The best WR are aware of the ref's line of sight and careful when to use their arms and extending the elbow within view of ref. That is how pro WRs make a living.

DW4 hit Hunter Renfrow across the middle in stride was just nasty. It was like NCST thought Hunter was an ineligible receiver with no one close to him.
