Don't make any sense at all. It was bc LJ was blowing everybody out that got him in position for the Heisman, but it will hurt DW4's chances if he does the same thing against a #19 team!!!! D a m n if you do, and be da mn ed if you don't!!!

...that last year's playoff performance will help DW4 this year. It's likely to be in the back of the minds of any voter who watched the NC last year how well he played. Lamar Jackson has fallen off the last few weeks, and DW4 has gotten better (just like he did last year). If the voting had included the playoff he'd have had a good chance to win last year. It appears the media is pushing Jackson as their candidate, but if DW4 has a really good game this week (whether close or not) I think it'll be a very close vote.

Yep, LJ hasn't looked to good during championship November!!! I hope that all of the voters know that there wouldn't be a mark On DW4's record if not for bias referees!!!

I hope you are right, and it has played out that way in the past. I.E. Hershel Walker definitely should have won the Heisman his Freshman year, but he didn't. I think he didn't win it his FR. year because he was a FR, and in that day it didn't happen. The next year he won, even though he wasn't as good as the prior year, IMO, because the committee felt they owed it to him (kinds a "make up call"). If anybody deserves a "make up call" it's DW4, because he deserved it last year, as well.

Herschel didn't win the trophy until his Junior year. He should have win the Heisman his freshman and sophomore years with the number of yards he put up. It was amazing that he finished in the top 3 in voting. It wasn't until Tebo won it as a sophomore that the voters decided to give it to an underclassman.

on what your voting for, just stats, or leadership, results and ability to perform under pressure. Who would want to do a straight up trade with L-Ville at the QB position? Not me, I'll take Watson every time.

If he played one less cupcake and one more tough defense he would be at 50. Its more of a scheme thing than anything. He's a pretty quick WR that runs the ball a lot at the QB position.
If I were to guess Cain could do the exact same thing that LJ is doing.

If the award was actually given according to its purpose, i.e. "the most outstanding player in college football in the United States whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity", then between the two players, DW should win hands down. The award however has not been given according to those guidelines in all cases over the last few years. See Johnny Football.
