Anybody buying the VT love ? I know they are going to have a stout defense ...but what about scoring and when the D comes up short ?
They may have the worst QB situation in the ACC ...and we all know they haven't had a decent RB since David Wilson .
So , what's up with that ?

VT has screwed the pooch. They won't be back at least until Frank retires. I wish them the best for showing respect and allegiance to Coach Beamer.

I predict us a top ten defense. Our secondary and LBers are the best group of secondary players, imo. Our line returns excellent players who contributed greatly to our #1 ranked D last year. The recruits for that line would start anywhere. WE (are indeed) TOO DEEP!!

Everybody knows our defense won't have to win our games this season but I believe they can.

ESPN has us predicted as 45th ranked offense and 4th ranked defense. Interesting....
