if Wilkins wants to play quarterback, coach, or play safety, that beast can do whatever he wants. that is a good problem to have

Cant wait to see what else he can accomplish this season. I seriously wouldnt put it past him to play safety and dominate or even CB & not let a pass be caught. Go Tigers! ! !

Once Bryant comes back, I would like to see Wilkins continue to play both positions but on short yardage situations, I would love to see him as a LB. Imagine putting Bryant, Watkins, Dex, Pagano and Ferrell on lines with Boulware and Wilkins as LBs in short yardage situations. I know most would disagree but i think Wilkins has the speed to play LB in those type of situations.

Every coordinators we play would try to match up Christian on TE or RB. And as great as he is, he can't keep up with players that quick/athletic.

I'm not saying we should do this in every short yardage situation. I may be wrong but I thought I read Wilkins ran a 4.8 40yd dash. i would think he could cover a TE if he has too. And regarding him as a short yardage LB, I would just have him strictly on run support and thats it. Leave a safety on covering a rb out of the backfield or Boulware covering a TE. It wouldn't hurt to experiment with this in practice.
