I'm sorry but what is Dabo smoking here? Lawson and Beasley are both extremely talented but their skillsets and body types aren't similar at all.

I think he's comparing them from a talent standpoint. Vic does some things better than Lawson, and vice versa, but the talent is there. He's just saying he will do well at the job he's given, just like Vic.

ANYONE replacing Grady Jarrett. That dude was HUGE for the overall success of our D. He absolutely shut down the entire interior. He was not just solid. He was insane.

I think Reader and Wilkins will do well replacing Grady. Watkins will too. They're will be some dropoff though.

Reasonable assessment. Not a whole lot of time to get guys experienced though. Week 3 at Louisville could be a real test for our defense.

Louisville on Thursday night is going to be a TOUGH TOUGH test, they return most their players, losing Dyer, Parker and Mauldin, but returning most everyone else. Still, we played them without Watson, our offense wasnt as solid as it was the last two games of the season. Its obvious the offense will carry us this year, but the defense will make enough stops for another 10+ win season.
