DeShaun getting hurt may not be as bad as

Sam Cooper getting hurt. He is our most experienced TE, and probably the best blocker. Stanton and Leggett seem to be more receivers than blockers

And it may have solidified his red-shirt?

he looks skinny compared to Cole and Chad - 6ft3 188 - needs to get in that weight room and bulk up for his battle with Chad next year!

I think he would have red-shirted anyway

Jameis and Manziel are said to be the 2 best freshman QBs ever, and they still had a redshirt year. If theres enough depth at QB, its good to let the freshman redshirt, and learn the offense.

Looks like a redshirt may be inevitable for Watson at this point.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's a good thing, though

Apr 7, 2014, 9:43 PM

He'll be ready to take the reigns next year.
