Jarrett was far and away the best player on that defense. I don't see him as a pass rushing DT the way a lot of analysts do but he will be an excellent run-stopper in a multiple 43 base system. I could see him going to a team like the Ravens who use players in whatever role fits them best.

totally agree with you

When you talk about pure football players in Clemson history on defense I would put him with Jeff Davis, Terry Kinard, MD Perry, Levon, Dawk, Jeff Bryant, Jim Stuckey, Anthony Simmons, Ed McDaniel, Keith Adams in terms of all out motor, effort, and pure "want to" on every play...that dude was a disruptive beast and we will miss him more than any player we have lost defensively in years.

The Ravens would be a great fit. They're also my favorite team so I'm praying they take Big Grady!!

I always gets the confuse when people talk about Grady

not being tall enough. Interior Defensive line play is all about maintaining leverage, and keeping your pad level low. Seems to me a shorter player would actually have an advantage here? Height would come into play more from the DE standpoint, knocking down passes. Whatever team takes Grady is going to be one of the most pleasantly surprised franchises in recent years. I say he not only makes his team, he starts fairly quickly.

If Grady never plays an NFL snap

He's a man's man in my book, And Absolutely one of, if not THE, the most Physical DT's I've seen come through the program.

Having said that....dude will play in NFL.
