That's kind of how it works, though. The last team gets the first pick, I believe, so that sets the #1 guy up for a hard row to hoe.

If DW4 don't hire an agent until he knows who will have the 1st pick, couldn't he decide to come back to school if it turns out that Cleveland has the first pick???

I think he will know that they have the 1st pick long before he has to declare for the draft as a junior, but if he comes back for another year chances are good that the Browns will finish last next year too. He may have to sign for the top guaranteed money and suffer the consequences no matter what. The best players go to the worst teams unless trades are made.

I would love to see the cowboys trade up to get him. With all the injuries Tony Romo is having, I don't see him having many more years left to play. Just my opinion
