Can anyone tell why the SEC won 7 championships? The BCS always pushes the top of the SEC to the top of the poll. We are 1 LSU and Clemson loss away from another Bama/LSU championship. If only we went to the CFP format 12 years ago we might be at 8 teams by now.

Bama with one loss ranked at the third spot ahead of half a dozen undefeated teams?

Anyone else remember why we chitcanned this system for a playoff?

Any chance if Bama beats LSU they will jump to #1 and LSU will be ranked second?

They can't help themselves. The pollsters still control so much of who gets the benefit of the doubt. Granted, winning is all we can do to help ourselves, but make no mistake, there is a lot of pressure to get the chosen conference in the big game. It cracks me up when I hear some say it doesn't matter. Even when they don't get in, it will be on their minds that maybe they should have.
