Just watched the game again

Oct 12, 2014, 10:18 PM

Boulware should see a massive increase in PT.

Kearse takes bad angles at times but can track down Usain Bolt.

Choice is our starter.

Grady Jarrett is the best player on our team.

Peters is having a fantastic year.

I'm still lost on Chad Morris' logic in short yardage. I feel better when we're around the 30 yard line and score on a big play rather than inside the 10 yard line. If the ball is on the 1/2 yard line, get under center with your 6'5 QB and tell him to lean forward and drive his feet. If a mishap happens under center then you lose a yard or two, in the shotgun the runner starts six yards behind the center or the ball could go over his head and lose twenty yards.

Might cost us again this season.

What about DeShawn Williams?

Did you notice that he had a massive game?

Everyone did

I'd buy everyone who played defense a beer last night. Back was against the wall practically the entire game. All those three and outs meant they got short breaks on the sideline. A testament to Coach V.

I'm watching the replay as well. I am not a Chad or Dabo hater but, those plays were bad calls. No questions asked!

Who is our best pass protector? Howard?

Howard seems to be the most consistent.***

I watched him whiff a few time in games, so both may be whiffers, but I like the way Choice runs better.

Doing the same...Jayron on that screen play early in the 4th is tough to watch. Great play by the entire defense but man that should have been 6.

Jayron can make the big play...or give up the big play. He is improving and will be very good, I suspect, by the time he leaves Tigertown. I said to my brother that Boulware was playing like Shuey, and that is a compliment. #10 had himself a game. And Garry Peters?? Wow. He is playing at a very high level. Coach Reed has done some work with the secondary. Scary game this week. Go Tigers!
