it's my understanding it was his decision not to become more involved in Clemson sports like Munson is already. Yannity's going to focus on his TV career - he wasn't dumped by Clemson.

did you read pete's statement? he said it was the ad's choice to move in another direction. pete did not want to leave the booth. you say he did not want to be MORE involved in Clemson sports? he was already doing football and basketball, what else would he have done, baseball? thad turnipseed took over most of munsons duties as director of social media and left munson with the full time job that needed a place to go. many felt that pete needed to more up beat and more pro Clemson. imo pete was always a pro and represented the university in the same manner. could he have been more exciting and more pro Clemson? we will see if don does a better job.

tv station, cover the panthers, and call Clemson games. That's a lot of work. TV money pays a whole lot more than radio money

so after being here since early 2000 we today discovered he was doing too much outside of calling games here at Clemson? do you really think we just recently found out about his gig at tv station? he was doing it when he was hired! he only does panther sideline work on sunday. if you don't like him as a person or pbp man ok but to say he was not canned is not dealing with the truth.

This is good ole boy crap from someone and a bad move by DRad in my opinion. DRad has strengths, but talent recognition isn't one of them. Look at who he hired at GT and how they're doing in all sports. His hiring is suspect.
