Three things to take away from that.
1) Everyone pretty much does it
2) If we do it, we are kinda bad at it
3) Sorry, but the refs WERE ACC officials. And even throufhb my orange tinted glasses I will admit we got away with a few things as well. Enough with the holding, it sounds like the #### fans.

can. The rule is simply not enforced, and is ignored for the most part. That makes it's random enforcement seem unfair when it is called. It particularly huts us, this year, because we have a defensive line that can't be stopped without blatant holding.

every series, be pretty boring football with either a holding call or sack on every series.

admit their failure and change the rule to accomadate their inadequacy. I think it's a huge mistake, however, to think that the game would not adapt and be just fine if the holding rule, which is there for a very good reason, was properly enforced. If they made it a point of emphasis, and blew the whistle on every single play, it wouldn't take long at all for teams to adjust their blocking technique, and offenses to change and evolve to handle the pass rush.

Cle and Christian were literally tackled many, many times. They were then able to double team Dex and use backfield help on Bryant. It was obvious, blatant and never called.

You make a good point for holding, what TAM was doing was GRAPPLING. Faced with that, our DL did an excellent job against it. Not just physically but also mentally.

I was more alarmed with real tacky PI calls last night to be honest. The one on Mullen in the end zone was a concerning...If a corner can’t cover like he did on that play then what’s the point of playing.
