Ever met a Clemson grad that

Aug 23, 2014, 2:32 PM

Wouldn't have gotten into any SEC school? Me either.

But I have met many sec grads that could never get into Clemson. In fact, a few I wondered how they even got into any school.

I did too.

My point is that all of us would probably have gotten into any SEC school as well. (IF we wanted to)

Good thing Clemson isn't playing the Tigers of Princeton. Sure, you'd kick their butts on the field, but in quantum psychics...Clemson's going down!

Just having fun. In reality, U.S. News and World Report ranks UGA #60 and Clemson #62 for all U.S. colleges, so it's basically a tie.

UGA has some good academic schools ...but it is also a much larger institution overall than Clemson .
The trade school in Atlanta is the think tank in that state .

UGA Journalism school is supposedly pretty good.

Other than that, UGA=Sakerlina of GA. GT=Clemson of GA

Re: Do you have any free samples?***

Aug 23, 2014, 4:30 PM

Vanderbilt comes in @ #54 on Forbes's top college list. Clemson is #163. That leaves a slight chance that one might get into one & not the other.

I seriously doubt I'd have gotten into Vanderbilt with a 3.4 GPA & a 1200 SAT score in 1997.

I believe it's a blatant fact also that SCU's admission criteria is below average for the SEC.

Clemson would rank near the top of the SEC

Aug 23, 2014, 7:43 PM

Clemson would only rank behind Vanderbilt, Florida, and be basically tied with UGA. It's probably easier to get into UGA than Clemson because Georgia Tech attracts most of the top Georgia students.

By the way coot, don't try to point to ONE year and give that as your example. Let's go for several years.

One year doesn't give a full and accurate picture.

Also, while your at it, provide us with ACT scores, extra curricula activities and starting salaries for those graduating from Clemson versus those that graduate from SCAR.
