With HJ gone, TLaw needs to play early and often.

I'm not calling for him to start on Day One over KB, but he needs gametime experience as soon as the 2nd quarter of the Furman game because if TAMU can shut us down we'll need TLaw to come in and open up the passing game.

HJ leaving sucks but it tells me 2 things:

1) He knew he was not going to start regardless
2) He knew he could not beat out TLaw long term

he's capable of coming off the bench ice cold against aTm and tearing them a new one.

He'll play against Furman, though.

Yep, coaches are going to play TL early and often for when KB stumbles and fails to put points on the board. It will be TL'S job for the rest of the season if that happens unless he suffers an injury!!!
