Ennyjuan here have a SimpliSafe security system?

Mar 28, 2018, 2:06 PM

TU or TD?

new ones look 'nice' compared to the horribly dated 1st gen system...and any new system comes with a free camera. that deal ends today.

I'd kinda been thinking about one for a while (co-worker has one and raves about it...as much as one CAN rave about a DIY security thing, anyway)

ok until the batteries start dying***

yeah...that's giving me a bit of pause.

I hate buying/storing/changing/disposing of batteries...

There's already a hardwired security system from previous owner, but a) we know nothing about it/them, and b) i'm looking mostly for a self-monitored one.

There's this konnected.io , but so far, it's not compatible w/ the smart-home stuffs I've already got set up, thought they 'might' in the (near) future...

that'd be the way to go, i'd think....also one of the reasons I haven't already gotten something like simplisafe

I'll never get back the 6 minutes it took me to change the batteries.

Nope. I have a Mossberg system.

It's LOUD, and it works perfectly.

I bought mine in December

Mar 28, 2018, 3:08 PM

So I have the horribly dated 1st gen one. I noticed the nice sleek one came out a month later. Anyway, mine works great. No complaints so far. Well, except that most, if not all of them ship with a Tmobile sim. But they swapped out mine to a Vzw sim for free.

TU from me. I wanted something simple and cheap. I had the most basic system (no cameras, etc.) and it worked well.

Yep

Mar 28, 2018, 3:20 PM

But I'm not saying #### in protest of the rigged bracket voting.
