Make sure you mail the Directv equipment back in a timely manner or they will charge you for it.

They will want all of the boxes and remotes that you have, but don't want the actual satellite.

Can't add a lot here as I just cancelled Direct TV last week myself, but thought I would just provide moral support. I went with Hulu for now, and could not be happier. Been using Hulu for about 2 weeks now, and my monthly bill for TV went down $95 (yeah it's embarrassing that I was paying that much for Direct TV...I'm one of those middle aged jokers that gets set in their ways and is resistant to change :))

Me too! I've been paying $150 for it. I deactivated it all summer (trees block reception). Now I see no reason to keep it

I know it's been said before but ensure you have a fast and reliable internet source. Speedy internet is the key to cutting the cord. Enjoy YoutubeTV by far the best streaming platform. Go Tigers!!!
