Per rivals, Dexter is planning on finally visiting Clemson on the finial weekend of August. This is absolutely huge if it pulls through; it didn't for FSU and LSU who were planning for him to visit.
Again all credit goes to Rivals.

NOT an expert at all, but from what i've read of dexter, he just seems like an awesome clemson fit. i mean literally what few words have come straight outa his mouth... just sound like clemson. get him on campus & then an official... i think we're right there for him

If true this is HUGE. He's on essentially the same level as Rashan Gary and arguably a (slightly) better prospect than Christian Wilkins. He's been tough to get on campus for everybody and just getting him here, where he'll have the chance to connect with our coaches and strong family- and religion-oriented atmosphere, would be a major win.

We have a better shot w Lawrence. He's not going far from home and visits are hard to get out of him. If we can get him on campus we've got a good shot. Gary seems to favor the SEC aura. Both studs. Love to have both. If I had to choose, I think Lawrence is the better fit

He would be a huge get. Hopefully the trip doesn't fall through. I also saw on rivals that there is one person close to Shaq smith that stated clemson is no longer in the picture but that seems kind of contradictory to what he told our other commitments so who knows. Will be interesting to see how his situation and Lawrences works out.
