Big Mistake in the 1st

How big does that double play look in the 1st now? 1st and 2nd with no outs is a no brainer... sacrifice bunt! End up hitting into a double play. This team will have to learn to play some small ball because the long ball isn’t happening right now.

ball in the 1st inning. We had plenty of chances to tie or get the lead. We struggle against good pitching.

I said that when it happened... I play college baseball myself. I guarantee you 75% of every team in the country sac bunts there and it’s not even a question. But yes we will have to start putting balls in play against elite guys like tonight

pitching...we had good pitching tonight and Vandy did fine. We feed off walks and making pitchers pay for a mistake and getting the big inning. We are not a good hitting team...at times this year we hit well with runners in scoring position but not lately.

That’s right! They scored all of 4 runs against our good pitching compared to our measly 3 runs against their good pitching. ??
