ESPN3...Ugh!

Mar 10, 2018, 12:46 PM

Is anyone else watching the baseball game video today freeze as often as I am? This same thing happens so much when viewing Clemson baseball games on ESPN3. Is this an ESPN broadcast problem, or a problem with my computer? Afraid I am not computer savvy.

It’s perfect for me. Possibly could be your internet speed. Do you know what speed you are getting? You can test on Speedtest.net

Thanks for the replies. It's probably my slow internet speed. I don't get much for the $$$ from
CenturyLink out this way.

I was having same issue but I am like you without much knowledge. My wife just did a test and said it was 65Mbytes/sec down which should be OK. However, I think my computer has some kind of crap installed from work which interferes periodically. You may have the same issue.

You shouldn't have any trouble at 65 Mgb, I only have 6 Mgb

and usually streams fairly well. What browser are you using? If in IE, switch to Chrome.

With 65 mbps you should have no problems. My recommendation is to watch it on your TV, not your computer. I only watch on a computer if I’m traveling and have no other choice.

Look into a Roku or Fire TV and hook it up to your TV. You’ll have a much more enjoyable viewing experience.
