ESPN pushing their agenda again

Watched that Mike n Mike show this morning. The one feller, Greenie (sorry if I assumed his gender, he may be one of them transformers), was trying to convince his boyfriend to eat quinoa instead of rice. Why is this on a sports show? That ain't sports related at all!

quinoa is grown in poor South American countries.
Putting a dent in Asians rice markets is a "W" for the left.

I'm as right as they come and I eat quinoa. Higher nutritional value

It has protein and other nutrients in it that rice completely lacks. No reason to eat rice if you can afford quinoa.

Haha, you must be cooking it wrong.

If you cook it to a mush, then I can understand this. It's technically pasta, iirc, so you don't want to overcook it.

Good lord. Some people care about nutrition and what they eat. There is nothing political about looking to better your health. I guess I'm a liberal crazy because I eat riced cauliflower instead of rice.

Is anybody else offended by the calendar? Named after a wealthy corrupt head of a religion. Why do we continue to oppress people through the use of the Gregorian calendar?

who he is dating that he "needs to try quinoa." Call me old fashioned, but it should be enough to just suggest it and move on without nagging someone you're dating.

OP didn't say anything about politics, he just wondered why this is fodder (see what I did there?) for a sports show. Quinoa vs rice is a topic better for The View or Dr. Oz than any ESPN show.

are currently for our tigers. I thought turning into ESPN was a smart way to go about that. But instead I had ghey marriage thrown in my face and had to learn about some homosexual grain.

I'm missing something here. When did the two Mikes become a dating couple ? I don't watch the show obviously.

I am sure that both of their wives and kids would love to know as well. I actually kinda like Golic, probably since I remember his playing days. I think his son who was also a ND player us kinda a jerk on his ESPN show with the failed country music dude, but Mike Golic is ok. Greenie is a dweeb tho.

Not agreeing with all that ...Psycho Tea , but it is their channel to do as they wish . We as fans , can choose to tune in or tune out . Personally, I haven't heard a Mike and Mike in a couple of years and I am not missing them .
