Soooooo after Bama the second best SEC school is 40 points worse than Michigan. That sounds like a conference full of world beaters to me.

if you look at it, the sec has done well this bowl season. FSU,unc have looked bad and they were the ACC's next best. A Clemson win next Monday and my New Years will start off great!!!

Ok, so FSU and UNC ran into high powered offenses. This bowl season had a LOT of bad matchups, how would they have faired against Northwestern, Okie state, Kstate or some of the other "traditional offensive schemes" type teams? LSU played a high octane offense that happened to also have the 126th ranked defense. If you cant see through the bowl matchups and why certain matchups happened, then you arent looking.

You line up and play. If you lose it's not a bad matchup. It means the other team was better.

That's the problem that Dabo solved here at Clemson. You don't play to your opponent's level. You play to a standard.

Also FSU didn't care.

not a valid argument. you should play to win. Basically what you are saying is an excuse for the FSU and UNC.
