As a Clemson fan I hate it, but I do understand the media wanting to push other teams in the spotlight. Sports fans like chaos and Cinderella stories. There have been several articles written about the magic and chaos of the 2007 season (undefeated Kansas team??). Chaos creates more viewers, more viewers create more advertising dollars, more money means more job security and raises.

As long as we make the playoffs I'd honestly prefer the media endlessly hype the other teams and kind of take us for granted. Think it works both as a motivational tool for the team and as a potential negative for our opponents if they start to believe their hype.

As long as both schools remain "undefeated" it is just one of several scenarios that could happen, so let eSECpn play out whatever they want.
For me, I would rather see Clemson/ Ohio State, or better yet Clemson/ LSU.
