Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

GT won't notice it but that's not the point.

We've gone a long time without a loss and eight more days until we play again. That's downtime to the dumpers.

Smith has played at an exceedingly high level and will be sorely missed. He has provided strong run support from the offensive tackle out and that will be crucial with GT.

Where we will miss Smith against GT the most

Nov 7, 2014, 5:01 PM

I think the Dline and Lbs will play the option well and holding the running game in check for the most part like we've done the past two years against the bees. However watching GT this year they are more comfortable going deep on play actions this year than in the past and that is where we have potential to get burned. Smith has developed great coverage skills but I have not been overly impressed by Green in limited playing time in coverage skills (he is young, but not quite ready). I think Green has the potential to bite on the option run and have a wide open receiver behind the defense. We shall see though. At least Smith will be in second half.
