Rather poor taste, don't you think?

Obviously Donte didn't see his role being a big one and wanted to play where he could be a starter. He's a good kid, from all indications. I hope he finds a place to call his own.

Must not be able to adapt to coaching fundamentals

Does he really think he's given BB a chance? I thought in the few minutes he got last year, that he did a good job on defense, which BB stresses.
Oh well, good luck in the SoCon or somewhere like that.

will fit in well with OP, although I think he heads home to someplace like VCU, James Madison or George Mason

So not only can this coach not bring in new talent, but he can't keep the existing talent either? This sounds like another great TDP hire!

Well I would imagine that the "big time" recruit that Brownell stole from Wright State should soften the blow. For some reason I just smell a new Larry Shyatt in the air.

Geez, guy hasn't coached a game and already some are

writing him off. He convinced DBook, Johnson and Jennings to STAY. Hill cannot shoot and was not a fit for this system. He's a good kid but Stanton, the recruit Brownell brought with him, was recruited to his system. He will get minutes where Hill would not. Brownell has a top 75 power forward Bernard Sullivan and a good combo guard Daniel Sapp committed. We only ,ose Grant and Stitt next year so it's not exactly like we were going to bring in 5 guys. Shyatt was a head coach for one year before coming to Clemson. Brownell has coached 8 and taken both clubs he's coached to the tourney. How is his and Shyatt's resume even remotely similar?

Well if you think a recruit that was brought in for the system, one that probably should be in the SoCon is a step up.....great. Brownell may well have been to the tourney.....so was OP. But he is in the big leagues now. Unless all of your talent is top 75, it doesn't go very far in the ACC.

Not even Duke and NC get all top 75 talent ding dong

Stanton was a guy who's stock rose late. Hill wasn't top 75, top 100, top 150, top 200, yet you whine about losing him. Are you Darin Horn?

Hill can't shoot worth anything... Brownell's offense stresses shooting.. Hill needs to be a run and gun offense to be successful.. This is not a big loss whatsoever.. i guess a 4 star PF and 3 star PG already committed mean nothing.. he kept all our CORE players.. Jennings.. Johnson.. Book...
Donte Hill was never going to be a great player..
